Mainspring addresses economic hardship, including food insecurity for families and seniors.
Office hours and donation times are 9:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Thursday.
We are a voice for change, raising awareness and building partnerships to address the root causes of economic hardship, including food and clothing insecurity. Mainspring is a non-profit organization focused on providing equitable comprehensive services to meet the basic needs of residents within and beyond Portland.

Giving back has always been a focus for the Franz Bakery Foundation and we want to continue to support the nonprofit organizations that uplift their communities. With our 14th Annual Spirit of Giving Program upon us, the Franz Bakery Foundation will be selecting 20 501c3 verified nonprofits to each receive a $3,000 grant.

Mainspring Pantry Updates
New Hours
Clothing Pantry: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Food Pantry: We have brought back our ONSITE shopping model for our Thursday Food Market! Open from 10:00am - 1:00pm (while supplies last, first come, first served.)
If you have a donation outside of hours of operation, you can still support us! Drop it off at the Rocky Butte Farmers Market: Saturdays from 9:00 am - 1:00pm NE Siskiyou & NE 80th Ave Come visit our booth and our amazing Mainspring Ambassadors will be there to greet you.
