Due to the car accident, we have had to implement a temporary closure of the interior of Re thread clothing services.

We will place some racks of clothing outside in the gated area on the Northeast Fremont side of the building on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We are a voice for change, raising awareness and building partnerships to address the root causes of economic hardship, including food and clothing insecurity. Mainspring is a non-profit organization focused on providing equitable comprehensive services to meet the basic needs of residents within and beyond Portland.

We will continue accepting seeds and veggie starters in 2024. Gardeners, please keep us in mind!

Many of us purchase a substantial amount of seeds for our own gardens each year. Feel free to share any extra vegetable starts or seeds you may have!
We are one of the very few food banks that accepts produce donations from your personal urban garden.
This is a great opportunity to provide our community with the resources needed to feed families fresh veggies and foster a sense of pride in contributing to urban sustainability.
