Re-Thread Clothing Services

Due to the car accident and the temporary closure of the interior of Re thread clothing services.

Mainspring's clothing pantry will however place some racks of clothing outside in the gated area on the Northeast Fremont side of the building on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Open Tuesdays & Thursdays: 10:00am to 1:00pm

At Re-Thread Clothing Pantry, we firmly believe that everything has a cyclical nature and that includes clothing. Even with limited resources, we provide people and families in need of apparel with a dignified shopping environment. Our items are free of charge and of high quality.

Re-Thread gives parents a resource to use when their children grow too quickly for their garments to last as long as they should. Many of those parents will exchange such clothes items for necessities for their kids. It's also a better way for college students who are on a tight budget to trade clothes.

We also carry some items dedicated for harm reduction for every client.

  • The clothing pantry at Mainspring is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm.  Please arrive before 12:30 in order to have enough time to shop.

  • Shopping allotted times are to ensure that everyone can access what they need.

  • Shopping is limited to once every 14 days per customer.

  • Due to the car accident and the temporary closure of the interior of Re thread clothing services, Mainspring's clothing pantry will however place some racks of clothing outside in the gated area on the Northeast Fremont side of the building on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  • When entering, we ask that you sign in with a volunteer or staff member. This allows us to understand the needs of our community and request the clothes, personal care items, soft lines (i.e. sheets and blankets), or small household goods you need.

  • Re-Thread’s inventory is dependent upon the donated and exchanged clothing items we have on hand.

***Please bring your own shopping bags.***
