After graduating from Oregon State University with a degree in Apparel Design and Merchandising, the founder of Suite Stitch set out with a clear purpose: to help shift the apparel industry toward a more sustainable and socially responsible future. For six years, she worked in social responsibility, advocating for safe, healthy, and dignified working conditions within the fashion industry.

The fabric for this garment is knitted in Los Angeles by a family-owned, women-led company using TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers and spandex. TENCEL™ Lyocell, developed by Lenzing, is made from responsibly harvested renewable wood sources and produced through an environmentally conscious process.

The dress itself is proudly manufactured in Guatemala at a factory committed to worker empowerment and stable employment. While the garment uses new materials, Suite Stitch continues to improve its designs and sourcing practices to reduce environmental impact and support ethical production.
