Mainspring Volunteer Central
Sign up for regular shifts, special events, remote work, weekend projects, mobile pantries, community outreach, or bring a friend to shadow you. Only first names appear on the public calendar.
How to Use This Portal
1. Enter your information
Fill in your name, email, and phone. Staff can see your full details, but the public calendar only shows your first name.
2. Add your availability
Use the weekly schedule for regular shifts or click any calendar day to add a one-time shift.
3. Sign up for events
Use the event section to sign up for Rocky Butte Farmers Market, Fremont Fest, First Thursday on Fremont, weekend events, special projects, remote admin, or community outreach. Each event needs at least two volunteers.
4. Bring a friend
If you are bringing a friend to shadow you, fill out the Bring a Friend section. A purple dot will appear next to your name on the calendar.
Volunteer Information
Enter this once. After it is saved, this full form will stay hidden and only an Update My Information button will appear. This information is private for staff use and updates the Roster page in the Google Sheet. After it is saved once, the form will not keep coming back up; volunteers will only see an Update My Information button.

Special Event Signups
Each event needs at least two volunteers. Additional volunteers are welcome unless staff closes the event.
